Unique Mower MD™ Service Centers Celebrate Grand

Trained Technicians Make “House Calls”, Offering Convenient Alternative for Repairing Outdoor Power Equipment

CLEVELAND, OH – March 2005 Local residents in four communities can now start the busy spring lawn and garden season with a clean bill of health—for their outdoor power equipment. That’s because new Mower MD™ service centers are now open and certified service/repair technicians are ready to make house calls, as necessary. So no more struggling to fit the lawn mower or other heavy power equipment in the family car for routine maintenance or repair.

The four new Mower MD service centers, which represent a major breakthrough in convenience in the lawn and garden industry, are located in Medina, Ohio (Cleveland area), Norwood, Mass. (Boston area), Jeffersontown, Ky. (Louisville area), and St. Charles, Mo. (St. Louis area).

The grand opening celebrations on Saturday, April 2, are planned to coincide with the onset of spring, which is typically when most outdoor power equipment requires maintenance work to ensure a longer service life and a safer, more efficient operation. Residents who visit the store between the time of the grand opening and April 30 will receive early bird discounts of up to 20% on selected services. While at the store, residents will also have the opportunity to fill out an entry form to possibly win a brand new Yard-Man Limited Edition Kevin Harvick® AutoDrive Lawn Tractor valued at nearly $1,500.

With a local, as well an 800 number, scheduling is quick and easy. The centers also offer the added convenience of at-home service for almost any type of outdoor power equipment—usually within 72 hours of calling the store.

Routine services performed by Mower MD personnel include warranty repairs, tune-ups and general maintenance, equipment pick-up and delivery. Tune-ups performed at the service center are competitively priced at $54.20, including parts and labor (limitations apply). Equipment serviced includes walk behind mowers, lawn tractors, tillers, edgers, log spliters, generators, pressure washers, snow throwers, chipper/shredders, chain saw and string trimmers.
